Hey Anna!
I am probably the most demotivated motivated person out there.
What the heck does that mean?
I am not motivated to clean the house.
I am not motivated to organise my stuff.
I am not motivated to hang out with people all the time.
If motivation is a good thing, why is it so hard to feel motivated?
Or why do we forget how to do so?
Then, I realized why.
Because we always expect to feel motivated for everything.
And we hope things will be perfect with no problems.
If there's something we feel uncertain about, we give up on the whole thing.
Instead of just focusing on that one thing we could do something about.
Once I realised this, I never wanted to feel motivated all the time.
Only on important ones that matter - my family, my clients, my course.
That's how I went from 'don't care' to obsessed mode'.
Because motivation isn't created by how many hours you put in.
But by how you focus those hours on something you care about.
So Anna, maybe it's time for you to think about your one thing ;)
With love (and laziness),
Mei Phing xx
